Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and KodeSquadra ("we", "us"), Karnataka, India — GSTIN 29ABZPV9607N1Z5 — the operator of UnifiedSelf (unifiedself.in). By creating an account or using UnifiedSelf you accept them. Our Privacy Policy is part of this agreement.

1. What UnifiedSelf is — and is not

UnifiedSelf is practice-management software: bookings, reminders, notes, invoicing, and client communication tools for therapists. We are not a healthcare provider. We do not provide therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing on the platform should be read as clinical advice from us. The therapeutic relationship — and all clinical judgement and care within it — is solely between the therapist and their client.

UnifiedSelf is not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in crisis or danger, contact local emergency services or a helpline such as Tele-MANAS (14416) rather than using this platform.

2. Accounts

• You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Therapists confirm they hold whatever qualifications, licences, or registrations their practice requires, and that they practise in compliance with the laws and professional standards that apply to them.

3. Your clients' data

When a therapist enters or invites a client, the therapist confirms they have the right — including any consent required — to do so. We process client data only to provide the service, on the therapist's behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy. Therapists remain responsible for meeting their own legal and professional obligations toward their clients.

4. Fees and billing

• Current prices are listed on the pricing page. All prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of GST.
• Subscription invoices are issued by KodeSquadra under GSTIN 29ABZPV9607N1Z5.
• Founding-member pricing, where claimed, is honoured for the life of the account as described at the time of the offer.
• We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for you.
• Payments (when paid billing launches) are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card or bank details.

5. No lock-in

You can export your practice data at any time, on every plan, free of charge. Downgrading or cancelling never takes your data hostage: over-limit records become read-only at most — they are not deleted by us.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use UnifiedSelf to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, to send spam, to impersonate others, or to probe, overload, or interfere with the platform's operation or security. Don't attempt to access another practice's data. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Your content, our software

Everything you and your clients put into UnifiedSelf remains yours. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, back up, and display it in order to run the service. The UnifiedSelf software, design, and brand remain ours (KodeSquadra's).

8. Availability and disclaimers

We work hard to keep UnifiedSelf reliable, and we back up data nightly — but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted, error-free operation. Keep your own exports of records that are critical to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss or damage — including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity — arising from or connected to your use of (or inability to use) UnifiedSelf, even if we were advised such loss was possible. We are also not liable for the acts, omissions, or clinical decisions of any therapist, or for disputes between a therapist and their client. Our total aggregate liability for all claims combined is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim (which is ₹0 on the free plan). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or — for therapists — claims by your clients relating to your professional services.

11. Termination

You may stop using UnifiedSelf and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, with notice where practicable. After termination you have 30 days to export your data, after which it is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we will give notice on the site or by email before they take effect; continuing to use UnifiedSelf after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory law to the contrary.
